Description

Although not our first Peruvian offering, this is the first caffeinated coffee we’ve carried.  This comes to us from the Cooperativa Agraria Aprocassi, which represents numerous small farms located in San Ignacio, Cajamarca.  Cajamarca, is located immediately south of Ecuador in an inter-Andean valley bordering the Amazon rainforest. This area is 1000-2500m above sea level.   The result is a vibrant and balanced cup shaped by rich soils, cool mountain air, and careful farming practices. It has notes of nuts and cocoa, plus aromatic hints of chocolate combined with a low acidity to produce a sweet and mild aftertaste.  This is also a certified organic coffee.
